Baking Tip for the Upcoming Holiday Season!

This isn't a huge revelation, just a small tip that I discovered a few years ago that makes baking so much easier!  Parchment paper.  It only costs a few dollars for a roll and you can reuse the sheets a number of times.

What it does for you:
  • Non-stick - no spray or butter needed!
  • Cuts down on cleaning time!  Line your pans and cookie sheets with it.  Nothing sticks, and there is no baked on mess!
  • Helps with getting your squares out easily - just slip the whole thing out, then run a pizza cutter through it!
  • Cut out a circle the same size as your round cakes - comes out perfectly every time!

Hope this helps make your baking a little easier!  I'd love it if you had any other tips to share!

For those of you wondering about those Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Squares, check out the post from last week.  They're so good and really healthy!!

  2. Holy Moly! I learn something new everyday. Can you believe I've been on this planet for nearly half a century and never knew what parchment paper was for. I had no idea you could back with it! This will make my holiday baking SO much easier!
