"Superhero" Accessories #2: The Pirate Sword

So I know that this series is "Superhero" Accessories, and a pirate isn't really a Superhero.  But our youngest wanted to be a Pirate for Halloween, and when he realized that his brothers were all Superheroes, he decided that  he would be a "Super Pirate."  I'm not sure how that's different from a regular pirate, but it's good enough for him!

We had a pirate sword around the house one time but we couldn't find it.  So it was time to be creative.  We found a paint stir stick and some popsicle sticks.  I like the stir stick because it has a handle-shape on it already.

We covered the sticks with duct tape, then covered the handle with black electrical tape.  Simple enough!  I like that it's not sharp at all and isn't very long, so it's easy for a little guy to handle it.

Next up:  Captain America's Shield!

For Part I,  head over here to check out Thor's Hammer!
