Just a little glimpse of some of our Christmas decorations. I had mentioned a small Christmas tree collection, so I thought I'd show it. It's kind of a fun silvery, white & red theme, and I love looking for new ones to add to it. The best part is that they mostly came from dollar stores & second hand stores. The one on the far left is on an LED base that lights up, either white/silver, or a disco-y brightly coloured setting, which the boys love.
We went from having extra low ceilings in our old house to having extra high ceilings here. I was inspired by a picture on Pinterest, to do the lighted garland on top of the cabinets. I love how it lights up the room!
Our tree is looking pretty sad now - it's about 12 years old and getting kind of bare, so I'm not posting any pictures of that. It used to look so tall in our old house, but now it looks kind of tiny. I did hear a great tip, though, for older trees. Collect as many pine garlands as you can, and stuff them into the holes. It really helps to fill it out.
