Spiderman Cake

MR - My recently-turned-four-year-old really wanted a Spiderman cake for his birthday.  As I was browsing Pinterest (where else?!) for ideas, I saw some really cute cakes.  But I am not adventurous enough to try fondant (and I really have no desire to), and that's what most of them were.  I looked at a  few cakes for inspiration, and came up with this web cake, onto which we placed Spiderman. 

(My husband thought it looked like Spiderman was caught in his own web, but because of the limitations in flexibility, there weren't many posing options.  Either standing up really tall, or buried up to his waist in cake, or lying down in his own web.  I think he's taking a nap!).
