The Absolute BEST Pancakes!!

Our family loves pancakes, and every now and then we even have them for supper instead of breakfast.  My problem, though, was finding a good recipe each time.  If I used a decent one once, I forgot where it was or which one  it was.  But when I found this one on Allrecipes.com, I made a point to bookmark it and save it.  We use it every time and never have a problem.
Fluffy, slightly crispy on the edges.  We add either apples, raisins, blueberries, or chocolate chips.  The recipe doesn't make very many, so we like to triple it (LOVE that feature on AllRecipes), and we have some leftovers.  I substitute half the flour with whole wheat flour and you don't even notice the taste!
Head over here for the recipe!

  2. Hey Marya! I made these this morning with a little variation. I used whole spelt (tastes WAY better than whole wheat) instead of wheat and olive oil instead of butter (Judah!) and added a 3-4 tbsp of cinnamon. They turned out great! They even tasted good plain (which was how the kids ate half their breakfast because they couldn't wait :)

    Thanks for the recipe!

    1. Glad your kids enjoyed it, Sarah. I'll have to try spelt sometime - I've never gotten around to buying it.
