Apple Corer Tip

I shared this briefly  in my Apple post.  It was a fun way we discovered to send apples to school or work without them turning brown.  The boys call them "magic" apples - you take off the rubber band, and they fall open.

All you do is use the slice the apple almost to the bottom, so the skin is holding it together.  It is so quick and easy, and the kids eat the entire apple this way!

We also use the corer ourselves a lot, because it makes eating an apple that much quicker.

  2. I have never been a fan of eating apples whole so this sounds like the perfect kitchen accessory. I'm going to search for it online. Thanks for sharing!
