And with the fun of Back to School comes the shopping! Now I don't often get a chance to go shopping with my kids because, let's face it, taking four boys clothes shopping is not their ideal way to spend time. But I took the oldest two to Sears, and we had a great time together.
All they need are a comfy pair of jeans, and a zipper hoody. Just need to choose what colour.
Matching blue...
...or matching bicycles...
...or stripes and day-glow orange!
Some cool t-shirts...
(yes - he chose the day-glow orange!)
And of course they had to pick out a shirt for their younger brothers. Bumblebee!!!
And BATMAN!!!
I hadn't shopped at Sears in a long time (mostly because of the four boys thing!), but I was really impressed with their quality. Boys can be really hard on clothes, especially at this age, which is why I loved the Kidvantage warranty:
- "The Lifetime Wear Out Warranty covers children's apparel and footwear as long as a child in the family continues to wear the size. If the item wears out, Sears will, at its option, either repair it or replace it with the identical item in the same size."
I was impressed to find out that the warranty was good for any child in the family, not just one child! That means that when my youngest daredevil is big enough to wear those clothes, they will still be around!!! If you have more than one child, you need to take advantage of this! (Just make sure to keep the receipt).
You can enter for a chance to win one of five weekly $500 Sears gift card prizes, and 35 daily $50 Sears gift cards to put towards your back to school shopping!

Great clothes! And what cute kids! Good luck in the fall!
ReplyDeleteAww...thanks! And good luck to you too!
DeleteI bought them a little big - my 8 year old got a Medium (10-12) in the hoodie - we just rolled the cuff of the sleeves up. The 6 year old was in small (size 8) with the same cuff-rolling. The jeans had a great selection of styles in each size. They fit with room to grow (and had that WONDERFUL elastic inside the waistband!). I was also impressed at the price for the jeans - 12.97 for the Nevada brand. With the Kidvantage guarantee, we'll get a LOT of wear for that price! The selection was great too.
ReplyDeleteWhat great shoppers you have there! It looks like you had fun shopping, too! I have bought brand new jeans for Reuben but never thought of taking advantage of the Kidvantage thing! I will for sure look into that...
ReplyDeleteFun post!
ps: What hoodie did the oldest get? I love when boys match :)
Ha - I love matching ones too - I pushed for that. But I let them choose. Darren went with the bright orange and Evan loved the bikes.
